Nic’s Plumbing is a small Seattle plumbing company, and we collect a small amount of information for one reason: to schedule your visit, quote the job, and show you the work we did. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to have it removed. Effective 2026.
What we collect and why
Almost everything we hold about you comes from you, when you ask us for a quote or book a visit. Here is the full list.
- The quote form. Name, phone number, neighborhood, what you need help with, and a short message. We use these to call or text you back, figure out which technician and which day make sense, and prepare the Good / Better / Best estimate.
- Phone, email and text. If you call (206) 571-6044, email fl@efellemedia.com, or text us, we keep the conversation so we can remember what you told us about the house and follow up on the job.
- Job details. The address we work at, what we found, what we recommended, and which option you approved. This is the record of your job and your written quote.
- Photos of the work. Before-and-after photos of the plumbing itself: the pipe, the fixture, the water heater, the sewer line. More on those below.
The technician tracking link
When a technician is on the way, we send you a link that shows them en route on a map. That link is tied to your phone number and your appointment. It shows the technician’s location to you; it does not track you, your phone, or your location. Once the visit is finished the link stops working. If you would rather not receive a tracking link at all, tell us when you book and we will simply call ahead instead.
Before-and-after photos
Photo documentation is part of how we work: we photograph the problem before we touch it and the finished repair after, then share the pair with you. A few rules we hold ourselves to:
- The photos are of plumbing, not people. We frame them on the pipe, the fixture, or the equipment, and we keep them for your records and ours so you have proof of what was done.
- We do not publish photos of you, your family, your street number, or the inside of your home in a way that identifies you without your written consent.
- If we would like to show a close-up of the plumbing work on this website, we ask first. You can say no, and it changes nothing about your service.
- You can ask us for a copy of the photos from your job, or ask us to delete them, at any time.
What we do not do with your information
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your name, phone number, email, or address to anyone.
- We do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for. If we ever send a seasonal reminder, it will say who it is from and how to stop it.
- We do not share your job details with other contractors, lenders, or advertisers.
The only people outside Nic’s Plumbing who might see your information are the ordinary services a small business runs on: the phone and text service, the email provider, the scheduling and quoting tools, and the payment processor. They handle your details only to do those jobs for us. We may also share information if the law requires it, or if it is needed to pull a permit for your work with the city.
Cookies and website analytics
Like most websites, this site may use cookies and basic analytics to understand which pages people read and whether the site is working properly. That information is aggregate (page views, rough location by city, device and browser) and is not tied to your name unless you fill out the quote form. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
How long we keep things
We keep job records, quotes, and photos for the useful life of the repair, so you can come back years later and ask what was done. Quote form submissions that never turn into a job are kept only long enough to follow up, then removed. Nothing is kept longer than the law requires for invoices and tax records.
Your choices
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct something that is wrong, like a phone number or the neighborhood on file.
- Delete your information, including photos from your job. We will confirm once it is done. The one exception is records we have to keep for accounting or a permit.
- Stop texts or emails from us. Reply STOP to any text, or just tell us.
How to reach us about privacy
Email fl@efellemedia.com or call (206) 571-6044 and say it is about your information. A person answers, not a form. You can also use the contact page. We respond to deletion requests promptly and tell you when it is complete.
Changes to this policy
Nic’s Plumbing is new, founded in 2026, and the tools we use will change as we grow. If this policy changes in a way that matters to you, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
